Charged with a passion for motorcycles, our founder, Joan Rojas, sought to find a solution to keep his neck and head protected on his cross-country rides. Plucking from his knowledge of tubular knitting, he churned out the first Buff headwear product, focusing on supreme craftsmanship, and tested it as he traveled the length of the Pyrenees. Buff, short for bufanda, which means "scarf" in Spanish, was born.

Our most technical balaclava, the Cross Tech Balaclava is built for high-output activities in harsh conditions. The windproof, water-resistant and breathable WINDSTOPPER shields the forehead, mouth, chin and ears for protection while venturing into arctic domains. Able to manage moisture and odor, this balaclava has warm polar fleece around the neck and breathable mesh crown, laser-cut nose slit and breathing holes and ultrasonically welded seams. Comfortable even under a helmet.
